Sexual Assault Disclosure Scheme

The Sexual Assault Disclosure Scheme (SADS) provides survivors of child sexual assault with an official, safe and non-threatening means to disclose information about the person who assaulted them. The hope is that authorities may be provided a strong base of evidence through which to pursue prosecution when several victims of an alleged perpetrator may use SADS to disclose.

In June 2011 Bravehearts proudly launched a partnership with Tasmania Police, introducing Bravehearts’ highly successful Sexual Assault Disclosure Scheme (SADS) to the state.
