AAMi is a generous supporter of Bravehearts White Balloon Day campaign. For the last five years during National Child Protection week, AAMI donated its advertising space on the front of the NRL Referees jerseys for Round 26. This provided Bravehearts with invaluable national media coverage.
AUDIO production and voiceover company Abes Audio has assisted Bravehearts by producing free radio commercials. This partnership enables Bravehearts to not only save on costs but produce high quality radio commercials to promote vital messages to the community.
Stores drive media opportunities, hold white-themed BBQs and even host car rallies. In 2011, each store donated $250 which was matched by Autobarn head office, raising more than $50,000.
This year Battery World has teamed up with Bravehearts to assist through donations to educate more than 83,500 children on personal safety and support more than 5000 kids and their families over the past 12 months.
With over 85 stores Australia-wide, Battery World is excited to be part of this ongoing campaign to keep children safe and look forward to participating in White Balloon Day through collecting donations in store.
BCR has proudly supported Bravehearts since 2010 via donations and active participation in community events. In March 2012, BCR Managing Director Michael Thirgood was sponsored to paddle across Bass Strait to raise funds and awareness. In addition to generous donations to functions and campaigns, BCR also generously donates warehouse space to store Bravehearts stock.
LOGAN Community Bank Branch recently donated $8000 worth of grants to Bravehearts, while Bendigo Bank gave a further $5,000 to support White Balloon Day. In 2012, 56 Bendigo Bank branches participated in fundraising for White Balloon Day. In 2013, all Bendigo Banks in South East QLD participated in fundraising and raising awareness for White Balloon Day.
BLACK & White Cabs decorated its South East Queensland fleet of taxis with White Balloon Day signage on the rear panel of all vehicles during National Child Protection Week. In 2012-13, a promotional car was adorned with Bravehearts insignia. Through this contribution, Bravehearts has been able to gain priceless exposure in South East Queensland, for furthering its message of child safety.
In addition, Black & White Cabs also donates and supports various Bravehearts campaigns and functions throughout the year and donates $1,000 of travel for executives and dignitaries.
BLOOMTOOLS is a leading Australian developer of quality, results-focused websites and internet marketing tools. Bloomtools is the developer and host of Bravehearts Royal Commission website www.royalcommission.org.au
BRISBANE Broncos Charity Fund is a gallant supporter of Bravehearts and White Balloon Day. At the Bronco’s round 26 game, Bravehearts received an incredible amount of media exposure with Hetty Johnston addressing an audience of 50,000 on game day.
The Broncos Leagues Club also supports White Balloon Day by selling counter box merchandise throughout September (Child Protection Week) and displays our posters and information to fans. The All Stars Indigenous match provided funding to enable educational mats from Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventures show to be donated to primary schools, community centres, kindergartens and day care centres in indigenous communities. In 2009-2012 the Brisbane Broncos Charity Fund was also the primary sponsor of Bravehearts bi-annual Break the Silence magazine.

provided a maintenance team and materials for the renovation of Bravehearts Springwood office in 2013. Through the generous donation of man hours and supplies, this project has enabled Bravehearts to provide its education and counselling services to the community on the north-side of Brisbane.
Cherish the Children
CHERISH the Children Foundation is a major sponsor of Bravehearts child safety initiative, ‘Ditto in a Box’ - a personal safety education resource designed for young children in lower primary and child care. This generous financial assistance has enabled Bravehearts to market this effective, evidence-based resource to Australian families since its launch in 2012.
East Coast Apprenticeships
EAST Coast Apprenticeships volunteered a band of workers to pull down walls, replace carpets, create new walkways and assemble external fencing at Bravehearts Strathpine on Brisbane’s north-side. Through East Coast Apprenticeships partnership with Blue Scope Steel, colour bond fencing was also donated to complete these works and the result is a new facility that services the north-side of Brisbane.
GEELONG Community Foundation grants have funded child safety education program Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure to schools and childcare centres in the city. It is with this commitment that Bravehearts is able to continue to deliver its child safety messages via this acclaimed program.

It is with this fantastic alliance that Bravehearts hopes to better educate, empower and protect the most valuable members of the community – our children.
GOOGLE has donated $30,000 towards Bravehearts cyber safety program CyberEcho, to be piloted in schools in 2014. Google also donates up to $10,000 in Google Ad grants each month, so Bravehearts can advertise its community services in education, counselling, advocacy and training online.
Henry Davis York
CORPORATE law firm Henry Davis York has been a long-time supporter of Bravehearts’ mission to make Australia the safest place in the world to raise a child. Generous donations and sponsorship in various Bravehearts campaigns and events, as well as invaluable legal assistance has greatly assisted our cause. In 2012 Henry Davis hosted the first White Balloon Day roof top breakfast which was hosted by Network Ten’s Matt Doran. Plans are now afoot to make this a signature annual event.
JAYCO founder Gerry Ryan has been an invaluable supporter of Bravehearts. As well as the continued generosity of donations to various Bravehearts campaigns, Mr Ryan officially named Bravehearts a charity partner of his national cycling team, Orica GreenEDGE, in 2012. Orica GREENEdge is a supporter of the Bravehearts Time Trial with Robbie McEwen a major drawcard.

MOUNT Druitt Police raises more than $60,000 annually at its Police Charity Ball. This support is greatly appreciated and goes a long way towards educating and protecting the children of Sydney. AS one of Australia’s leading commercial free-to-air networks, Network Ten is a proud media partner of Bravehearts. Networks Ten provides ongoing support with free advertising, community service announcements, ambassadors, guest speakers and MC’s at Bravehearts events.
WHITE Balloon Day sponsor NQX was an essential part of the 2012-13 campaigns. By donating free courier services throughout Australia, Bravehearts was able to deliver merchandise quickly and efficiently while saving on freight costs. Bravehearts was able to ship large quantities of free items to a number of important target groups, including women’s and children’s services, police and other community service organisations. In conjunction with Toll, Bravehearts has access to free nationwide courier services all year round.
IN partnership with AAMI and Bravehearts, National Rugby League (NRL) match officials once again supported our White Balloon Day campaign by placing Bravehearts logo on the front of their jerseys for the Round 26 game in 2013. BRAVEHEARTS has been the charity of choice for Nutrimetics for the past 6 years. VIA its E3 charity stream, skin and beauty care manufacturer has showcased a full page advertisement for White Balloon Day in its brochure which is distributed to more 50,000 consultants in both Australia and New Zealand. Nutrimetics has also been instrumental in sponsoring ‘Ditto in a Box’.
SINCE partnering with Bravehearts in 2012, Ossie’s Transport has provided free courier and removalist services in South East QLD. Along with its generous contribution, Ossie's has also shown support by displaying Bravehearts logos on its trucks.
Through Ossie’s Transport sponsorship of junior AFL and Rugby League, Bravehearts has delivered its message to sporting groups and their supporters. Since 2012, Bravehearts has had its logo displayed on the jerseys of the Robina Raptors and Wyndham Vale Eagles, with clubs also hosting fundraising events.
ORD Minnett is a generous financial supporter of various campaigns and events, including a sponsor of junior riders from Cycling Queensland in the inaugural Bravehearts Time Trial. Ord Minnett Executive Chairman Karl Morris is a Bravehearts patron and former chairman of the national management board.
IN 2013, the Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s QLD Branch sponsored Bravehearts to attend the General Practitioners Conference & Exhibition (GPCE), donating a stand to promote training material. Bravehearts’ Founder and Executive Director Hetty Johnston has been a guest speaker at various Pharmacy Guild National Conferences and has a long standing relationship with the Guild.
THE dedicated support of Radio 4BC has enabled Bravehearts to advertise upcoming events and campaign child safety messages such as 1in5.org.au to the broader community. Radio 4BC has also donated the skills of an MC on many occasions to assist at functions and events. As a valued supporter of Bravehearts campaigns, Radio 4BC and sister station 2UE in Sydney has enabled Bravehearts to extend its reach to a wider audience.
RIMCO Building Systems owner David Rolle was a key sponsor for the construction of Bravehearts’ Head Office in Arundel. The three-year project came to fruition after hundreds of thousands of dollars was donated in labour and supplies. Completed in 2009, the Arundel headquarters is home to management and the organisation’s research, counselling, advocacy, training and community engagement teams.
SAFE and Secure Electricians installed solar panels to the value of $15,000 at Bravehearts Arundel headquarters. This amazing sponsorship continues to save Bravehearts electricity costs and is greatly appreciated.
FOR the past eight years Surfers Inkspot Printers owners Suzy and Jim Kinsel have supplied Bravehearts with beautifully designed artwork, business cards, stationery and printing, including our Annual Report - at cost price or by donation. This has greatly assisted Bravehearts campaigns and helped to spread our messages to a wider audience.
Bravehearts joined forces with The Daniel Morcombe Foundation who are funding a full-time psychologist at Bravehearts Strathpine office. The Foundation is an ardent supporter of our initiatives and campaigns and the collaboration has proved to be a great success as two leading child protection organisations combine knowledge to create safer communities for our kids.
GOLD Coast auto dealer Von Bibra has committed to a sponsorship deal worth up to $60,000 per year. Car buying customers at the Group’s four dealerships are given a choice to donate $20 from the sale to either Bravehearts or the AWL (Animal Welfare League). Funds go towards the expansion and continual improvement of Bravehearts’ education, counselling and advocacy services.
IN 2010 Vroom Vroom Vroom donated a company car to Bravehearts, which is now emblazoned with our trademark purple and logos. The vehicle is used by the Bravehearts community engagement team for fundraising functions and events and is used to transport merchandise.
WESTPAC commenced a partnership with Bravehearts in 2012 for the White Balloon Day campaign. Around 850 counter boxes were distributed to every Westpac branch in Australia with a poster, flyers and certificate of appreciation. Staff were encouraged to participate by wearing white. An in-house competition was run by Westpac with a coffee machine to be delivered to the branch that best supported the event through fundraising and raising awareness.
Westpac fundraising also provided the major prize for the White Friday competitions – $1000 to the top early learning centre, primary or secondary school that participated in White Balloon Day 2012. In 2013, all Westpac branches in QLD participated in the White Balloon Day campaign with counter boxes continuing to raise funds and advertising, being displayed in house and on ATM machines throughout QLD.
