AAMI once again supported White Balloon Day for the fourth consecutive year. AAMI donated to Bravehearts its advertising space on the front of the NRL Referees jerseys for Round 26. The Bravehearts logo replaced the AAMI logo for the weekend of August 31st 2012. This provided Bravehearts with invaluable national media coverage. We are very grateful for such generous support!
Autobarn came onboard the White Balloon Day campaign in August 2011, and continued their support for 2012.
Each of the 109 Autobarn stores across Australia received a White Balloon Day Kit and counter box to promote White Balloon Day in their stores. Many stores took the campaign to heart, soliciting media opportunities, holding white-themed BBQs and even hosting a car rally! We were greatly impressed by the enthusiasm and initiative demonstrated by the staff, to fully embrace this campaign and look forwards to a continued partnership.
BCR has been proudly supporting Bravehearts since 2010 through donations and active participation in community events, including paddling across the Bass Strait to raise funds and awareness in March 2012. As with our customers, we work with Bravehearts Inc as a partner, in order to drive innovation and provide solutions that achieve results.
The Logan Community Bank® Branch of Bendigo Bank is a proud supporter of Bravehearts. Our branch has a long standing partnership with Bravehearts and we’re happy to support the organisation through sponsorship and banking services. The Logan Community Bank® Branch recently donated $8,000 worth of grants to Bravehearts, while Bendigo Bank gave a further $5,000 to support White Balloon Day. We recognise and value the contribution young people make to a community and believe our children have a right to grow up in a safe and nurturing environment.
Black & White Cabs
Since 2009, Black & White Cabs has decorated its South East Queensland fleet of taxis with White Balloon Day signage on the rear panel of all vehicles during National Child Protection Week. This year a promotional car was fully sign written with the Bravehearts Insignia.
This has resulted in priceless exposure in South East Queensland and is an innovative way to get our message out.
Brisbane Broncos Charity Fund
The Brisbane Broncos Charity Fund once again showed their outstanding support of Bravehearts and White Balloon Day for the Round 26 game between the Brisbane Broncos and the Penrith Panthers. This year White Balloon Day and Child Protection Week were launched at the Bronco’s game which resulted in an incredible amount of media exposure and exposure of the Bravehearts brand and messages to an audience of 50,000 on game day.
The Broncos Leagues Club also supported White Balloon Day by selling counter box merchandise throughout the month of September and proudly displaying our posters and information to fans.
As always, Bravehearts is thrilled to have such a strong relationship with the Brisbane Broncos and is looking forwards to protecting more kids in the Brisbane area through their continued support.
Cherish the Children
We sincerely thank Cherish the Children as a proud supporter and major sponsor of the Bravehearts’ child safety initiative ‘Ditto in a Box’. The personal safety education pack is designed for young children in lower primary and child care and provides a non-confrontational means of teaching personal safety to children. With the generous financial assistance of Cherish the Children, this effective, evidence-based resource is now available to purchase throughout Australia.

NQX Freight System
White Balloon Day sponsor NQX was an essential part of the 2012 campaign. By allowing Bravehearts free courier services throughout Australia, Bravehearts was able to deliver merchandise quickly and efficiently while saving on freight costs. Bravehearts was able to ship large quantities of free items to a number of important target groups, including women’s and children’s services, police and other community service organisations. This increased awareness amongst our target groups significantly and undoubtedly served to better protect thousands of children. We are incredibly grateful for the support of NQX for the past 4 years and are looking forwards to future collaboration.

Nutrimetics, via its E3 charity stream, has been a long time supporter of Bravehearts. Nutrimetics showcased a full page advertisement for White Balloon Day in its brochure which was distributed to 50,000 consultants in both Australia and New Zealand.
Nutrimetics also advertised White Balloon Day key rings and lapel pins on their website and brochure selling items in addition to Bravehearts sale of stock.
Bravehearts were again invited to attend Nutrimetics National Conference in which White Balloon Day was highly advertised and promoted to thousands of attendees. Bravehearts has been charity of choice for Nutrimetics for 6 years running, enjoying long-term support along with access to a high volume of people across the nation who in turn promote our campaign to all their customers.

Ossie’s Transport is a new partnership with Bravehearts and has been providing free courier servicing to Bravehearts. They have also been displaying our Logo on all of their fleet which has resulted in priceless exposure and is an innovative way to get our brand out.

Southern Cross Austereo partnered with Bravehearts again creating White Balloon Day CSA’s featuring Hetty Johnston and Ambassador Carrie Bickmore.
Along with the creation of the announcements, Southern Cross Austereo provided free air time to showcase the CSA’s previous to and throughout Child Protection Week.
Surfers Inkspot has offered Bravehearts heavily discounted printing and design costs for the past eight years, with a portion donated this year, providing us with beautifully designed artwork and printing that serves as the basis of the campaign.

Bibra will help Bravehearts achieve its vision to make Australia the safest
place in the world to raise a child following a sponsorship deal worth up to
$60,000 per year. Car buying customers at the Group’s four dealerships are
given a choice to donate $20.00 from the sale to either Bravehearts or the AWL.
Funds will go towards the expansion and continual improvement of Bravehearts’
education, counselling and advocacy services. Von Bibra is a
long-standing and reputable Gold Coast business incepted in 1938 and owned and
managed by Warren Von Bibra and son Wade. It has four locations - Southport,
Ferry Rd, Helensvale and Robina.

Westpac Banking Corporation
Bravehearts began a partnership with Westpac this year and a total of 848 counter boxes were distributed to every Westpac branch in Australia with a poster, flyers and Certificate of Appreciation. Staff were encouraged to participate on the day by wearing white and displaying our poster in their branch. An in-house competition was run by Westpac with a coffee machine to be delivered to the branch that best supported White Balloon Day through fundraising and raising awareness.
Westpac fundraising also provided the major prize for the White Friday competitions – $1,000.00 to be given to the top early learning centre, primary or secondary school that participated in White Balloon Day 2012. The winner of the contest will be presented with a $1,000.00 cheque from Bravehearts, showing their great commitment to the community. Bravehearts is looking forwards to working together with Westpac on future campaigns.
