Bravehearts Inc. sets the standard in the provision of specialist therapeutic services and support to children and young people, adults and non-offending family members affected by child sexual assault.
The Bravehearts Counselling Service consists of Psychologists and Counsellors who specialise in assisting children and families to overcome symptoms by using evidence based interventions and best practice. Our Counselling Service does not investigate child sexual assault rather our focus is working with children and families to manage psychological symptoms that have resulted from their trauma.

How to Refer
Bravehearts welcomes agency referrals. Referral forms can be downloaded here, or alternatively, we can fax or email one to you upon request by phoning 1800 BRAVE 1 (1800 272 831).
Bravehearts also accepts all suitable referrals from parents, carers, Child Safety Services, Queensland Police, schools, General Practitioners, and other agencies. Please contact 1800 BRAVE 1 (1800 272 831) to make a referral.
Bravehearts receives financial support from a variety of funding bodies, with 60% of operational costs donated. We aim to provide counselling at little to no out of pocket expense to you, however sometimes a minimal cost may apply. Please contact us for further information.
Counselling services operate from our Springwood Office (South of Brisbane) and Arundel Office (Gold Coast). If you are not able to access either of these services, we are able to provide referral information for other services and counsellors. Our Telephone Crisis Support and Information Service is available Nationally via our free call number 1800 BRAVE 1 (1800 272 831).
