PSYCHOLOGIST/COUNSELLOR
Bravehearts Inc is currently seeking a part-time psychologist/counsellor to join our small, friendly team in Cairns.
Bravehearts Inc works specifically in the area of child sexual assault, providing counselling to children and young people who have experienced, or are at risk of sexual assault, as well as providing support for their non-offending family members and carers.
The successful applicant will need to:
Ÿ Be a fully qualified and registered psychologist or counsellor
Ÿ Have relevant work experience with a minimum of two years in practice
Ÿ Have excellent skills in relating to children and young people
Ÿ Be able to work within an existing therapeutic framework
Ÿ Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Ÿ Hold or be eligible for a Working with Children Blue Card
Remuneration will be between $42k-$46k, plus superannuation and leave loading, dependant upon skills and experience. FBT concession is also available.
