Volunteers Needed Now!

Let me take this opportunity to thank the volunteers who assisted at the last sausage sizzle and the blues festival. A combined total of $5400 was raised. Well done team and your efforts are always appreciated.

Thank you to all the volunteers who have sold and returned their raffle book tickets. Can you please let me know if you need another book, I have 6 more books to off load!

Queensland

31^st July-

Logan City Council Community Benefit Book Sale. Held at the Logan West Library. Browns Plains. 9-2pm. The council have this annual book sale and elected Bravehearts to be the beneficiary. I need 3 volunteers to help set up and man the stall for the day. No books are over $1.00.

29^th August

Sausage Sizzle- Harbour Town. We will require 6 volunteers for this regular event. This is always a fun-filled day and always raises a lot of funds for Bravehearts. Can you cook a BBQ? Can you put sausages in a roll? We need you.

3-5^th September

This is a biggy! The Brisbane Broncos and Gold Coast Titans are dedicating Round 26 to Bravehearts. We will be selling Merchandise, raffle tickets and collecting donations from the crowd. There are 2 games, 1 x Suncorp Stadium and 1 x Robina. WE NEED a minimum of 40 volunteers. This will raise thousands of much needed dollars for Bravehearts and increase awareness. Please check your diary and lock in some time for Bravehearts. This is a great one for the football fanatics like me….I am there!! Only 39 volunteers required now.

Nationally

White Balloon Day is coming up again; more about this next time…..get your thinking caps on for morning teas and luncheons to be held as fundraisers.

Well gang, it is time for me to get back to work…… I thank you in anticipation for your assistance. Remember we are all here for the same reasons…. to protect our children. Let's work together and keep the support going for this great organisation.
